I feel like I’ve learned the hard way and what they say is absolutely true: the nights are long, but the years are short. From the last post to this one, I present to you our light and joy, Kinsley.
It’s been a while since I posted anything, and to be honest, I miss writing and posting. The world has changed since I was last here. Things, especially online content, are quicker and shorter now, and long-form content like blogs and posts aren’t as popular. I hope to post more regularly, and I hope this site gives you a sense of calm and tranquility. As you read this, thank you for being here.
I thought these family photos were a perfect way to catch up and start fresh. The last time I posted Kinsley was still in my belly. She’s now a year old. OH WOW! Where did the time go? This journey has been challenging and incredibly rewarding at the same time. My pregnancy was honestly pretty easy, Delivery was a nightmareRecovery was awful and for the first 6-8 months I didn’t sleep at all. But watching her grow has been my greatest joy. She is very observant, very interested in people, currently hates diaper changes and we believe her love language is words of affirmation.

With that being said, let’s get started with this. white jacket ($150) and white slip dress ($60) Nowadays, I try very hard. No I don’t like to make everything custom made, but when a garment is this good, I make the investment. This blazer and slip dress were worth it.
The blazer needed shorter sleeves and a shorter length (for sizing reference, I’m 5’2″ and weigh 110 lbs) and the slip dress needed straps and a shorter length. For petite people, you might need to make some adjustments here and there to get it just right. For non-petite people, enjoy these two pieces! Speaking of material, the blazer has a nice weight to it and the slip dress is silky smooth and has a lot of movement. They’re both beautiful in person!
