Hello everyone, I’m Alyson. I’m so excited to be a guest on Remodelaholic! When I originally found this blog, I knew I had found my place. I’m definitely addicted to remodeling, decorating, and painting… which you can read all about on my blog. The Ragged Wren. I’ve been a faux painter for almost 14 years (OMG that makes me feel old).
Yo love my work… and as style and design change, I continue to change along with them. Not so much conforming, but creating new and better ideas. It really is an addiction, which can be expensive…really expensive (ask my husband). So to stay on budget, we do the work ourselves. Luckily, my husband is pretty handy, so we make a pretty good team!
We bought our current house almost 2 years ago (it’s not finished yet of course…my job is never made). The kitchen was the space that excited me the most. I paint so many people’s kitchens and closets daily that I knew exactly what I wanted my kitchen. I knew I could turn this ugly construction kitchen into the kitchen of my dreams.
