The 2025 Oscar last Sunday led to the end of this year’s awards, and who the What Wear editors have been following the best, more rumeta and more modern fashion throughout the season.
«Personally, I can’t stop thinking about the Haute Couture Schiaparelli Hate de Ariana Grande of Daniel Roseberry, designed by Mimi Cuttrell. I mean, it was perfect, in my opinion, the perfect end to his glind trip. I think he was made with more than 100,000 crystals. Schuesser.
The associated editor of social networks Kayla Allen was also amazed by the Large Haute Couture aspect. «It was made in a really subtle pink for her because originally on the Schiaparelli track, I think it was more a cream. And if you really look at the skirt, there are small glitters at the time. So I feel they did the perfect amount of what was such a beautiful architectural dress, but what makes it much more delicate for Ariana.»
For the last episode of The podcast that uses what What WatSchuessler, Allen, associate director of Fashion News Erin Fitzpatrick and the senior editor of social fashion and social networks Tara González share their favorite appearance of the year, the trends that are willing to leave behind and the stylists who have been at the top of their game throughout the season.

Kayla Allen: I have to go with the Lily-Rose Depp Chanel look. I am not seeing many people talk about that right now, but I feel that it is one of those things we will remember as a year and just love. I am a bit partial because I really like Peplum recently. There was a small fabric accessory right at the waist of Lily’s dress and then a halter neckline, and I think something about that silhouette was really beautiful. There were small sequins in all this that joined him and made him feel much higher for a prize show, but it was still very true for Lily’s style.
Bobby Schuessler: Okay, then the posterior parts also huge, of course. People really only show for those games after the Oscar. What looks were they loving?
Erin Fitzpatrick: One of my favorites was Kaia Gerber. He wore a vintage Valentino dress and a 1997 layer. And, you know, in these later parts, there are so many dresses with bright chips, so many transparent naked dresses, that I think it was refreshing that Kaia broke the mold. And then apparently this is controversial. But I liked Zoë Kravitz in Saint Laurent. I had a small mesh butt window, so to speak, on the back of the dress. I’m not sure how to call it. What would you call it, Bobby?
BS: A rear window?
EF: I saw the comments about social, and they were a bit negative, saying that it was something like that, like a bad taste or something. And I think the dress is completely covered by your arms, your legs, your neckline. So what’s wrong with a small cheek in the back, you know? It was nice.
BS: I mean, this is fashion. I mean, we are fine with a small cheek.
KA: I agree, release the cheek. As, it is not so deep. I think something a bit provocative is so appropriate to [the] Vanity Fair [Oscar Party].
Tara González: I guess I am also really controversial, because I also thought it was very fun. And we also saw cheeks on the catwalk in the Diesel Show. They really had low height. Alexander McQueen also did it as forever. So I think it’s fun; I am in that.

BS: Well, then, what are some favorite looks of the [Golden] Balloons? Kayla, what was your outstanding appearance?
KA: I loved Ayo Edbiri’s Loewe suit. I saw some reports that he was inspired by Julia Roberts’s looks of the 90s, which I love because that is one of my favorite looks. But I like not only to recreate the exact moment. She had this impressive gold feathers that linked her everything and made her feel a bit more modern and fresh.
BS: I loved it. Well, Tara, what was your favorite?
TG: So I’m always thinking of Nicole Kidman. As if we came to this place for magic, but I go to photos of Nicole Kidman for magic. I mean, she always looks incredible. And she wore this silver dress from Balenciaga. And I think what was interesting for me was a silver dress in a prize program, sometimes you can feel a bit blah, the kind of things that everyone uses or, you know, they really don’t remember. But the cut was so special. I was out of my shoulder. There was a little fabric that gathered around the center that really seemed to be a dress, but he felt almost like two pieces, and he had a train, but it wasn’t too much.

BS: Can you identify any stylist who has really done incredible job?
KA: The stylists are the unrecognized heroes, and I am always very happy to talk about them because they do such an incredible job. If I had to choose a favorite lately, I think it would be Jared Ellner. I am a great admirer of him. And from my perspective, I think he has played a very important role in the configuration of Sabrina Carpenter in the pop star it is. And has created as such a different but classic aspect for her. She is so old Hollywood but also modern. And I think that is really difficult to do and execute well. And its appearance is always so perfect.
TG: I really love Webb Genesis. And I feel that not only is Chappell root in these incredible file looks, but is also wearing Lisa with really incredible emerging designers. Recently he dressed it with an aspect of Wiederhoeft. And that is really great because obviously we see many of the great houses represented on the red carpet, but it is surprising when you have a stylist that is really in tune with what people are really getting excited about fashion and the younger emerging designers.
