how to make a cute carrot gift bag for easter

Pinterest

I love doing projects with these Super Linda Kraft bags! I have created them for many different stations, but never for Easter! They are very economical and a really fun way to give the cutest gift!

I did these in me MVP Group! Are you a member? You can join here for only $ 4.99/month! I will live once a month with an exclusive live craft and get a 15% discount code every month for the re-confused boutique! Practically pay for yourself!

Here are the supplies you will need for this:

  • Kraft paper gift bag
  • White fabric
  • Pen or pencil to draw
  • Orange paint harvest by apple barrel
  • White paint by apple barrel
  • Green raffia
  • Arc supplies

I used the green raffia of my re-confused collection for the fronds (I know they are impressed to know that word!) And you can get this and another seven perfect spring colors HERE!

First, I placed my fabric at the front of the bag and drew my carrot design with a pen.

Next, I used my favorite orange tone to fill the carrot that the fabric had drawn.

Just to give it a small variation, I added some white accents.

I didn’t want to add a ton of white, just a little «interest» to the orange because, to be honest, orange is not my favorite color!

While the paint dries in the carrot, I prepared my fronds. I just placed the raffia as if I were making an arc, then I used my scissors to cut the loops!

I decided to add some moon to the carrot because they simply make everything so stinky! I could have used a spotcer, but I prefer Freestyle! Be sure to make your points where some of them are «middle» points to give you the best appearance!

Then I cut my carrot to prepare it to hit the bag!

When I put it in the bag, I decided to cut it a little more to give it a thinner appearance. I also cut a little from the top to give me space for fronds in the bag!

I put my carrot on the bag and folded the upper part to paste my fronds underneath.

I used my Dandy glue gun practice to secure fronds and carrot on the bag!

How beautiful is this already looking like?!?!?

For the arch, I entered my craft room and grabbed a disaster of a lot of tape to make my reverence. If you want to know how I do, you can see that HERE!

I crossed several different sizes and styles of tape and I think the moles are literally perfect for this project!

Just a quick cut to match the tape and you are ready to start!

I used my glue gun to place it just below the fronds.

After a bit of adapting to do it well and a little sponge of the fronds …

This is the finished product! I can’t all overcome how adorable this was! I mean, who would not want to receive a Easter gift in this beautiful bag?!?!?!
