Anthro Autumn Diffuser Blend Recipe

Sharing is caring!

A few months ago I posted my Anthropologie diffuser blend recipe, which is a copy of the Capri Blue Volcano candles. I’m always looking for diffuser blends that rival toxic candles because, as I’ve admitted many times, I have a huge tendency to burn toxic candles, especially in the fall. While diffusion doesn’t replace the cozy magic of a candle flame, it can replace the toxic fragrance, toxic wax, and toxic wick of most candles we buy today. Diffusing essential oils in water is a great way to give your home a strong aroma that covers a large amount of square space. So, since it’s fall and Anthropologie has the ability to capture the scent of the season, let’s make a diffuser bomb that you can diffuse all fall long to give your home that warm, sweet fall scent.

What candle is “Anthro Fall Diffuser Blend”?

Ha-well, this is funny. We know that Anthropology stores have an exclusive blend which is Capri Blue Volcano and if you go to the store during the fall and holidays you will see tons of different fall candles for sale and many stores have those lit instead of Volcano. I went to the store specifically trying to find the candle that is being fooled in this recipe and came out empty handed. I wanted to buy it so I could perfect this recipe as best I could. There were so many options and none of them made sense to be this particular recipe. Come and discover that this mix is made to mimic the atmosphere of the store during the fall. There is no exact candle from which it is formulated.

I believe the “Anthro Fall Diffuser Blend” is made by Young Living VIPs. Because many Young Living sellers have a large following on social media, this blend has become very well known and most assume it is a copy of an exact candle.

Since there is no candle to light, I didn’t come up with this recipe. I first found it on one of my favorite home decor and essential oil recipe accounts. Nesting with Grace. She deserves the credit. I’m just sharing it because I love the scent and like I said in my most recent post of two homemade pumpkin spice recipes, I’m always on a mission to find aromas and fragrances that satisfy my insatiable need for pumpkin spice! And if I can do it in a healthy way, that’s a huge win!

This recipe calls for Young Living’s Christmas Spirit Blend. I tried this blend not long ago and I have to say that it is my most widespread scent besides lavender. I love this scent and even make it as gifts for friends and family. It’s a simple blend with sweet orange, cinnamon bark, and northern lights black spruce. If you don’t have the blend but still want to make this recipe, my Anthro Fall Recipe breaks down each oil in case you don’t have the Christmas Spirit Blend! I also give you a single serving recipe and a bomb recipe. An essential oil diffuser pump is a recipe formulated to allow you to use it many times instead of just once.

Anthro Autumn Diffuser Blend (Single):

Anthro Autumn Diffuser Blend (Pump)

This recipe is for a 1/2 ounce (15 ml) bottle. There are approximately 280-300 drops per 1/2 ounce.

How to spread Anthro Autumn:

  • Fill your diffuser to the designated water line.
  • Add 8 to 12 drops of Anthro Fall Diffuser Blend.
  • Turn on the diffuser and enjoy!

Where to find the best essential oils:

No oils are the same and when I first made this mixture I used a very cheap orange oil. I have orange oil on hand to clean it, it is not the highest quality. I was excited to try this blend and ended up using my cheap orange oil and thought this blend smelled weird. I decided to get a better quality orange oil and that made all the difference. I also found that this mixture smells even better after sitting for about a day, so if you end up trying the single-serve recipe and like it, I recommend making the 1/2 ounce pump. I say all this to say that it matters where you source your essential oils, even if they are strictly for diffusing. If you don’t have these oils on hand, I linked them to the essential oil brand I prefer. Plant therapy. They are high quality, provide transparent QA documentation, and are very affordable with fast, free shipping!

I love fall and I hope you enjoy this mix. I also have even more fall mix recipes you might want to try! I think it’s the taste of life when you lean into the seasons. How are you leaning towards fall? I would love to know!!

xx, jenni
