Jennifer Lawrence Brought Back the Styling Trend Jennifer Aniston Loved in the ’90s

When it comes to detecting the style tricks that really matter, I tend to look less at the clues and more to celebrities whose attire constantly resonate. And curiously, two of my most important style muses share the same name: Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lawrence. Whether by coincidence or destination, both Jennife constantly achieve the type of aspect without effort that forms the way they dress me.

My own style leans minimal with an underground current of the 90s, so it is not surprising that Aniston’s Friends-The Esra wardrobe informs my daily attire. But when I want to push that aesthetics in 2025, Lawrence is the Jennifer to which I turn. Then, when I saw a recent look of her that reminded me of Aniston Vintage, I knew I had found a style trick that was worth pointing.

This week, Lawrence was photographed in relaxed and low jeans sitting casually in its hips, finished with an elegant black leather belt. It is not an innovative movement, but he felt surprising, to a large extent because the belts have disappeared silently from the denim attire in recent decades. While fashion experts have been matching jeans with bare belts, Aniston once dedicated himself to the belt, using it as his touch of completion in the 90s.

A clean leather belt adds enamel, structure and a sense of intention of even the most of Jeans and Tee appearance. It is a subtle style adjustment that instantly lifts an outfit, and it is also something that I saw again and again among the street style set at New York Fashion Week this September.

Best of all, this is a trend that costs nothing more. Most of us already have a belt or two, and travel through its jeans offers an attire formula approved by Jennifer that was the time test.
